DAVD was initiated as a lecture and exchange platform exploring experimental approaches between digital technologies and analogue practices. The first symposium brought together students, designers and researchers working with rapid prototyping, 3D recycling, interactive systems and emerging media technologies. The project aimed to create accessible formats for knowledge exchange while encouraging dialogue around new creative and technological approaches within art and design practices.
